Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026. These terms govern your use of this website and any services provided by NPKB LTD.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the website located at https://npkb.co.uk (the "Site") and to any construction services provided by NPKB LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 17310277, whose registered address is 85 Fernside Avenue, Feltham, England, TW13 7BJ. By using the Site or engaging our services you agree to these Terms.

1.Services

NPKB LTD("we", "us", "our") provides construction, building and property maintenance services including but not limited to new builds, extensions, conversions, renovations, groundworks, interior fit-out and reactive maintenance ("Services").

All Services are subject to a separate written contract or quotation agreed between us and the client ("Contract"). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Contract, the Contract shall prevail.

2.Quotations

All quotations provided by us are free of charge and carry no obligation. A quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.

Quotations are based on the information provided by you at the time. We reserve the right to revise a quotation if the scope of works changes, if unforeseen site conditions arise or if the original information provided was materially inaccurate.

3.Payment

Payment terms will be set out in the Contract. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, a deposit may be required before work commences, with the balance due on completion or in staged payments as specified in the Contract.

Late payments may attract interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We reserve the right to suspend work if agreed payment milestones are not met.

4.Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the project.
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the site at agreed times.
  • Obtain all necessary planning permissions, building regulations approvals and any other statutory consents before work begins, unless we have specifically agreed in writing to manage this on your behalf.
  • Notify us promptly of any concerns or changes to the scope.

5.Warranties & Defects

We warrant that all work will be carried out with reasonable care and skill in accordance with good building practice and current UK building regulations. Any defects that are directly attributable to our workmanship and are reported to us within 12 months of practical completion will be rectified at our cost.

This warranty does not cover defects caused by fair wear and tear, misuse, neglect, acts of third parties, settlement natural to a new structure, or damage caused by you or persons not under our control.

6.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Services shall not exceed the total value of the Contract under which the claim arises.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of anticipated savings whether or not such losses could have been foreseen.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7.Insurance

NPKB LTDmaintains public liability insurance and employers' liability insurance appropriate to our business. Details are available on request.

8.Intellectual Property

All drawings, designs, plans, specifications and other documents prepared by us remain our intellectual property unless expressly transferred in writing as part of the Contract. You may use such documents solely for the purpose of the project described in the Contract.

9.Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By engaging our Services you consent to the processing of your personal data as described therein.

10.Termination

Either party may terminate the Contract by giving written notice in the circumstances and subject to the notice periods specified therein. Upon termination you shall pay for all work completed and materials procured up to the date of termination.

11.Governing Law

These Terms and any Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by publishing the revised version on this Site. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
